David France

is an international performer, an innovative educator, and author of the Amazon Best Selling Book Show Up: Unlocking the Power of Relational Networking.  He is currently the founder and Executive Director of Revolution of Hope, an arts for social change initiative  in Boston whose flagship program is the Roxbury Youth Orchestra. 

He was recently named a Top 40 Urban Innovator Under 40 in the United States and a top 100 most influential people of Color in Boston. 

Mr. France has performed with a number of orchestras including the Wichita Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra, The Ubuntu-Shruti Orchestra, the Sphinx Symphony, the National Orchestral Institute, and the Espirtu Barroco Venezolano in Caracas. In the fall of 2009 he performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Bermuda Festival Orchestra.

David and his avant-garde videos have been featured in many national and international programs and publications including CNN, The CBS Early Show, BBC News, NBC Nightly News, Time Magazine, the Wall Street Journal and more.  He was selected to be one of the Concert masters of the first ever YouTube Symphony in 2009, which performed to a sold out audience at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas.  David has collaborated with some of today’s most popular artists including John Legend, Kenny Rogers, Smokey Robinson, Josh Groban and Grammy award winning producer Quincy Jones.  His work in the film and television industry include an internship with Smooth Feather Productions, The Gayle King Show, and he appears as himself in the documentary “Harmony: The Road to Carnegie Hall” by director Stephen Higgins.

In the United States he has taught at The Saint Joseph School of Music, The Saint Paul Conservatory of Music, Wichita State University, and has given guest lectures at The Longy School of Music of Bard College, Eastern Illinois University, and Northeastern University. 

He is a sought after speaker and has spoken numerous times at Harvard and MIT,  Imagination 2013 in Hilton Head, SC, Music Tech Fest, Together Boston Festival, SXSW V2V conference in Las Vegas, the Babson Entrepreneurship Forum, the New England Conservatory of Music, and Berklee College of Music, TEDx Wellesley, and recently at Inbound 2017.

He is the founder of Ziryab Ventures a think tank for young entrepreneurs and is an Associate producer on  the Emmy-nominated TV show Ambitious Adventures  He believes that  joy in this life is maximized when you Give your Life Away.
